Neetu Ramawad is a Certified Holistic Nutritionist specializing in women’s health and hormones. She helps women heal their menstrual cycles and terrible PMS symptoms they experience every month. She also works with women to help them get pregnant naturally through preconception preparation for a healthy pregnancy, healthy baby and postpartum.
Her unique approach is a whole person strategy which combines the pillars of health in Western and Eastern medicine for optimal vital health. In my unique approach to whole body wellness there is no separation from mind, body, emotions and spirit. It is an approach that is more aligned with the design of a woman’s body.
Having to rely on medication every month, taking time off work due to period pain, declining social invites and not showing up as your best most energetic self is a quality of life issue. Too many women are suffering in silence and not living their everyday with the most abundant levels of energy.

For years I suffered from terribly painful periods every month making me reliant on medication to deal with the pain. While studying Holistic Nutrition I rushed to the emergency one morning with intense pain and an ultrasound revealed I had a ruptured ovarian cyst. I was given some pain medication and sent home. This whole experience left me feeling disempowered and clueless. I didn’t know how it happened or why.
I had so many questions that were dismissed by my general practitioner. The only option I was given to manage was more medication, birth control and surgery. I had the surgery to remove the cyst a few months later and they found stage 1 endometriosis.
While studying Holistic Nutrition I learned how to use food as medicine and began to heal my menstrual cycle. I noticed a lot of changes by making changes to my lifestyle and what I was putting into my body. I was able to have painless periods, no more PMS, more energy and balance in my overall life.
My healing journey continued as I dived deep into emotional healing and learning how traumas can manifest in the body and womb space. This work looks at where specific traumas are showing up that are holding you back from taking the action you need to nourish your body and mind deeply. Everything is connected and requires balance to ensure the hormonal network is working cohesively.
I realized that so many women are reliant on pain medication, birth control and antidepressants to manage painful periods due to hormonal imbalances.
